Eat for the Earth is offering our first annual Food As Medicine conference on October 20, 2024. Learn the latest information on plant-based nutrition, the effects of diet on chronic disease prevention and control, and about designing an optimum plant-based diet for patients and clients in a clinical setting. This conference is designed for healthcare professionals, but others with strong interests in nutrition and health are welcome to attend.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the California Medical Association and the Commission on Dietetic Registration. We will be offering 7.25 units of credit for the following professions: MD, DO, RN, PA, RD, and DTR.
Speakers include Drs. Michael Klaper, Columbus Batiste, Rak Jotwani, Elise Atkins, and María José Hummel. There will also be a panel discussion and a culinary medicine demo with Rev. Chef Beth Love. For more information or to register, see our Food as Medicine website.
