Eat for the Earth is offering our second annual Food As Medicine conference on Friday, October 17, 2025. Learn the latest information on plant-based nutrition, the effects of diet on chronic disease prevention and control, and about designing an optimum plant-based diet for patients and clients in a clinical setting. This conference is designed for healthcare professionals, but others with strong interests in nutrition and health are welcome to attend.
We are planning this conference in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the California Medical Association and the Commission on Dietetic Registration. We will be offering continuing education credits for healthcare professionals.
Speakers include Milton Mills, MD; Vesanto Melino, MS, RD; Douglas Lisle, PhD, and María José Hummel, MS, MPH, PhD. There will also be a panel discussion and a culinary medicine demo with Rev.
